I have always loved this pretty photo! There's something about the colors of the pillows, wood table and black polished chair frames placed together that makes me want to enjoy a glass of sangria here. Consider mixing and matching different texture and color tones in your small space.

I just discovered your blog ... love it. Where can I find that penny mirrored side table? It is absolutely gorgeous!
Thanks, Jennifer! I know - that table is amazing! I spotted it at the LA Mart. You can call them now and set up a personal shopper appt and get that table. I think it's about $400. A bit pricey but totally worth it!
I really love this look, it's awesome. Also, I just want to ask you a question since you're a connoisseur of small living. My boyfriend and I are moving in together into a one bedroom apartment, to save money. He has big forest green leather furniture, large horror movie posters (former film major), black ikea living room tables, and a huge collection of movies and shot glasses. I have not much furniture but I do have an outstanding book collection and a lot of "stuff." How can we combine our styles in 700 sq feet? Im just afraid our place will end up entirely too masculine and cluttered. Feel free to email me any suggestions. Thank you!
