SMALL SPACE DWELLER HANDBOOK:
Using Magazines As Furniture

I really stand behind this simple small space solution that's accessible + affordable. In small spaces, storage space is limited and sometimes things you love make it so far as a closet or (eeks) under the bed. Books and magazines sometimes don't find a home. When this is the case, try stacking your literary goods. Perfect storage solution and perfect table top space. Love this example of how saved magazines create a perfect place for this plant and acts as a side table to boot. [Image via Desire To Inspire]

I love thinking of something and then BOOM! it pops up randomly as I'm browsing.

I just did this very thing today, because I can't afford a side table, and my stack of Domino mags is just right.

I like this idea - I have 2 years worth of Shape Magazine that I'm using as a mini table to store my hand weights on next to my desk. I thought it was a junk pile I needed to do something about, I'll be sure to tell my boyfriend that it's part of out decor now.

Magazines as furniture - great idea. I could furnish a house with my collection.

Any tips on keeping them from sliding around? (My current stack is tettering over.)
